Hi there. I'm a writer of speculative fiction (just the one book so far, but more on the way). "Mordechai Salas" is a pen name that reflects my Jewish and Latino heritage. My work explores themes of power, desire, and community. I believe that most people want to be decent and generous, but that a very small minority will happily exploit that decency unless someone stops them.
It's about time that we stop letting the psychopaths run everything, don't you think?
In my spare time, I like to make music, graft fruit trees, host terribly naughty gatherings, and create various concoctions and contraptions. My friends call me a mad scientist, but that's giving me too much credit. Scientists have discipline.
